“…The most unique thing about my wedding is us!”
The Who, Where, and When…
Bride and Groom: Abigail and Tony Mehalic
Wedding Date: 5/28/2017
Ceremony Location: Covenant Presbyterian Church
Reception Location: The Barn at Ligonier Valley
When and How Did You Meet
Tony and I met in December 26th 2015. We are both teachers at Greater Latrobe but at different building. Mutual friends suggested that we meet and we went to a friends party and 10 months later we were engaged 🙂
Tell Us About the Proposal
My birthday is November 19th and Tony’s is November 21st. Tony suggested we go to the Ligonier Country Inn for brunch then look at gingerbread homes in Ligonier. We went to brunch and arrived in Ligonier and he suggested we walk up to the diamond to look at the Christmas tree. When we got up to the tree he got down on one knee and proposed. I had no idea and was complete surprised. We walked through the town and stopped at the Ligonier Tavern for a glass of champagne to celebrate, also the place we had our first date on January 3rd 2016.
Tell Us About the Look / Theme / Style
Our wedding theme is elegant and romantic. Our colors are blush and champagne with ivory linens, champagne table runners and ivory chair covers. Our flowers are a mix of short and tall flower arrangements with white hydragenas and blush roses.
What Inspired the Vision
The current style and my personal romantic style was my inspiration.
What Made Your Wedding Unique
The most unique thing about my wedding is the bride and groom! And a Kona Ice Truck that arrived at 8:00pm for a surprise treat.
What Moment Do You Recall the Most
Seeing Tony for the first time when I walked down the isle.
